Harnessing KC pride to drive record growth
Kansas City’s CommunityAmerica Credit Union had low brand awareness. Those who knew them didn’t think credit unions were sophisticated enough to serve their needs. We needed to find a way to help this challenger brand out-maneuver bigger national banks - without the ability to outspend them. So we tied CommunityAmerica’s brand to the intense local pride and underdog mentality of Kansas City, leveraging a partnership with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. And together, we scored big.
