Sr. Account Manager

Cactus is looking for a Senior Account Manager to work closely with both the client and agency teams to develop marketing plans that achieve the client's desired outcomes. The SAM has a deep understanding of its clients' brand, business, and industry and is responsible for managing client projects and relationships. The SAM also has a deep understanding of the agency's capabilities and successfully matches the agency's services to accomplish clients' objectives, proactively identifying opportunities for growth.

 

 

Salary:

$70,000 - $84,000 commensurate with experience

Location:

This is a Denver based role with a 3 days in office, 2 days WFH schedule

Job Roles

Develop and maintain successful client relationships, serving as a key day-to-day contact with mid- to senior-level clients and agency partners.
Develop strong category and industry knowledge to provide strategic thought leadership to clients, including competitive and trend tracking.
Champion multi-channel campaigns working closely and cooperatively with teams from creative brief development to campaign launch, aligning diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
Lead projects with minimal supervision, managing them on time and on budget, utilizing project management software to track and manage all tasks.
Maintain an expert understanding of the agency's capabilities and processes, and actively contribute to building new best practices.
Ensure the highest possible quality control in all agency services and deliverables.Secure client authorization with signed estimates and scopes of work prior to initiating work.

Mentor junior-level staff as needed.
Overnight travel and after-hours work required for location-based productions (~4-5 annually).

Qualifications

4-6 years of relevant full-service advertising agency experience managing marketing projects and budgets
BA/BS degree in relevant field of study
Proven team collaborator, motivator, innovator and problem solver
A track record of building strong client relationships, with experience working directly with client in-house teams
Thrives in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Outstanding presentation and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to clients, creative teams, and analytics stakeholders.
Experience working within a creative agency is preferred
Retail, CPG and/or gaming experience preferred
Experience in executing tactics across the funnel such as Broadcast TV, Radio, OOH, POS, CRM (e-mail and in-app), social and digital.
Proficiency in project management software is required
