Loyalty and Marketing Automation Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and motivated marketing automation, CRM and loyalty marketing professional to join our growing Retention Marketing team at Cactus. 

In this role you will be responsible for aiding in the development of retention and personalization strategies, and implementing the supporting tactics across Cactus clients. This will range from execution of a high cadence of email campaigns, in-app and in-browser messaging, SMS, A/B testing, customer database segmentation, reporting on retention marketing KPIs, and helping to grow and expand the agency’s retention capabilities. Experience in the lottery industry, or on fast-moving retail products is preferred. 

Our ideal candidate comes with experience executing retention marketing tactics across a variety of client-types, with experience in multiple CRM, CDP and ESPs, and ideally with experience in the Braze platform. Increasing customer engagement, improving retention will be key measures of success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, customer relationship management, and data analysis, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Salary:

$60,000 - $70,000

Location:

This is a Denver based role with a hybrid schedule - 3 set days in office and 2 WFH.

Job Roles

Execution & Maintenance (40%)
Retention Program Execution: Manage and execute campaigns through client CRM tools - Braze as priority, Salesforce and Hubspot as secondary needs.
Content Creation: Create tactical and ongoing content in client CRM tool for in-platform execution. This will entail email template build-outs via drag and drop tool, in-app messaging, in-browser messaging, content cards, SMS/text and push notification.
In-Platform Execution: Schedule, send and steward all content within monthly calendar through client CRM tool.
Personalization: Aid in the development of marketing personalization strategies and execution of tactics including messaging customization across marketing channels, user authentication, and data collection and maintenance to create stronger customer relationships.
Automation: Implement an automated process to update player data on a monthly cadence to allow more targeting opportunities.
Experimentation: Recommend and execute A/B and multivariate testing, including experiment design, execution, analysis, reporting and adapting future tactics based on results.
Metrics (25%)
Data Analysis: Utilize platform dashboards, data analytics tools and customer insights to track program & segment performance, evaluate effectiveness, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Data Stewardship: Analyze data and make adjustments to ensure accuracy, such as merging accounts, removing inactive accounts and updating customer information. Maintain connections between disparate platforms to ensure seamless flow of data across marketing touchpoints. Perform regular data hygiene checks.
Client relationship/Meetings (25%)
Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with client partners, and external partners, including serving as primary point of contact with retention marketing vendors and technology providers.
Inter-Departmental Partnerships: Responsible for partnering with multiple departments, including Digital Experience and Creative, to create and develop necessary content for marketing campaigns and execution
Strategy (10%)
Content Calendar: Develop and maintain a robust monthly CRM calendar, across multiple touchpoints include email, SMS, in-app and in-browser notifications.
Strategic Support: Partner with Director of Retention Marketing to develop innovative customer loyalty and retention strategies, build future-looking roadmaps, and turn these strategies into impactful execution.

Qualifications

2 - 5 years of retention marketing experience across email/CRM, loyalty programs and marketing automation.
Strong understanding of modern retention marketing platforms and technologies, including CRMs, CDPs, ESPs, email content creation tools, data visualization tools, and presentation tools.
Experience with Braze and / or Iterable are highly preferred. Salesforce and Hubspot secondary.
Exceptional communication skills across written, visual and verbal media.
Desire to learn and grow from executional focus to strategic leadership across loyalty and retention focused clients.
Content creation capabilities, including copywriting, basic design skills and editing / proofing.
Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain precise attention to detail.
A positive attitude, creative mindset, and an insatiable appetite to learn, grow and evolve in this rapidly changing industry.
Agency experience preferred.
