Digital Media Supervisor (E-commerce)

Cactus is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Media Supervisor with a deep expertise in performance and e-commerce media. This individual will be instrumental in driving our performance media efforts - focused on effectively managing media to customer acquisition cost targets, optimizing campaigns towards aggressive ROI goals, and maximizing customer lifetime value. You'll be a key player in shaping our digital media strategy, directly impacting our growth and success.

Salary:

$80,000-$95,000 commensurate with experience

Location:

This is a Denver based role with a hybrid schedule; 3 days in office 2 days WFH

Job Roles

Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive digital media strategies focused on customer acquisition, ROAS, LTV and cost per lead, with a strong emphasis on Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), Paid Search (Google Ads), Performance Max, and Demand Gen channels.
Recommendations and Points of View: Provide clear, well-crafted and compelling paid media recommendations across Cactus clients, ranging for holistic annual digital media strategies to quarterly media plans to day-to-day updates and points of view.
Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance against key KPIs (CPA, ROAS, LTV) to ensure efficient budget utilization and maximize return on ad spend.
Budget Management: Manage significant media budgets ($15MM+ annually), ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimal allocation across channels to achieve business objectives.
Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data from paid media platforms, GA4, Looker Studio, and other analytics tools to identify trends, derive actionable insights, and inform strategic decisions.
Tracking & Measurement Expertise: Deeply familiar with digital tracking methodologies, including Google Tag Manager, ensuring accurate data collection and robust reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams (e.g., creative, analytics, product) to align media strategies with overall business goals and optimize the full customer journey.
Innovation & Testing: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and new ad formats. Proactively identify and test new opportunities to improve campaign performance and expand reach.
Mentorship & Development: Play a key role in mentoring and developing more junior media planners and buyers, sharing your expertise and contributing to their growth.
Reporting & Communication: Develop and present clear, concise reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying, with a strong focus on performance and e-commerce media. E-commerce media experience is required. Experience working in retail, lottery, online gaming, or mobile gaming is preferred, and some agency-side experience is preferred.
Performance Media Mastery: Proven ability to successfully manage media towards aggressive customer acquisition cost goals, ROAS goals, and customer lifetime value goals.
Platform Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager), Google Ads (Paid Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen), and various other digital media platforms.
Analytics Acumen: Deep familiarity and hands-on experience with digital tracking and measurement platforms such as GA4, Looker Studio, and Google Tag Manager. Experience with advanced attribution, multi-touch attribution tools, and media mix modeling is preferred.
Budget Management: Demonstrated experience managing large media budgets ($10MM+).
Fast-Paced Environment: Proven ability to thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Mentorship: Experience in mentoring or guiding more junior team members is a significant plus.
Experience in the retail or gaming industry (online gambling or mobile gaming) a plus.
Agency-side experience beneficial but not required.
