Remember Molly Katz?
She’s back in the saddle as Cactus’ latest edition to the Strategic Planning department. As Director of Account Planning, Molly is on a mission. Her mission – to help brands grow. For the past seven years, Molly has worked with a range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to 30-year family owned businesses. Regardless of the size of business, Molly loves nothing more than to solve a challenge. Sit down with her over a cup of coffee, or in front of a whiteboard, and her passion for problem solving will quickly become known. A big believer of the power of branding, she believes the best brands are not just born, they are built on insights, inputs and instincts.
As a trained qualitative market researcher, Molly is a skilled moderator – with expertise in leading focus groups, intercept interviews, collaborative workshops, and her personal favorite, shop-alongs. Beyond qual, Molly always encourages clients to leverage the power of data. From brand tracking studies to segmentation studies, she works with clients to create tailored, customized approaches to solving their marketing, business and communication objectives and needs.
After her day job, you can find her in the classroom at CU Boulder, teaching a course on an Introduction to Branding. The daughter of two teachers, she says there is nothing more rewarding. Plus, she says she’s not the only one teaching – and uses it as an opportunity to stay abreast on the latest and greatest (and often times most ridiculous) trends in the digital and social world.
